 Welcome to First Baptist Church in Midland, NC.  We are located in a rural area, just outside of Charlotte, NC. We have been here since 1881, known by several different names from  Chaney's Hill to First Baptist Church.  We completed and moved into a new sanctuary in 2001.  

We are a  family oriented Southern Baptist Church.  We are mostly traditional in our style of worship. The gospel was meant for all people regardless of age.  We encourage families to worship and participate in worship together.  We have activities for people of all ages; from Nursery, to GA, RA & Acteens, to  Youth Group, Senior Adults and Family Activities.  If you are looking for a church,  please come visit us, we would love to have you come worship with us.
